Fresh Pesto Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups lightly packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts or walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor; blend until smooth. Use immediately, or cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Serving Tips:
This is super on cooked pasta, chicken or fish.
