Ingredients
- 2 Cups all purpose flour
- 1 Tsp baking soda
- 1 Tsp salt
- 3/4 Cup butter, softened
- 3/4 Cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 Cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 Tsp vanilla
- 3 Cups dark chocolate chips
- 3 Cups pretzel sticks, slightly crushed, divided
Preparation
Step 1
Sift flour, baking soda and salt together; set aside
Beat butter and sugars at medium speed until creamy; add eggs and vanilla
Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture
Add chocolate chips and 2 cups of slightly crushed pretzels
Cover dough and refrigerate at least 1 hour to overnight
Preheat oven to 350
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper
Scoop dough into balls about 1 1/2" in diameter and place 2" apart on baking sheets
Bake for about 7 minutes, then sprinkle each cookie with more of the crushed pretzels
Bake for an additional 3-7 minutes depending on how done you like them
Transfer to a wire rack to cool
