MAYO****HONEY-MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE

I served this with chicken fingers. I liked it more than Dan did - he'd prefer plain Catalina dressing with his fingers - but I'd eat it again.

Ingredients

  • 4 servings
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (or half greek yogurt)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Creole mustard or other hot whole-grain mustard
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch cayenne, or to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and stir well to combine. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use. (Sauce will keep, refrigerated in a covered non-reactive container, for 2 weeks.)

Yield: approximately 1/3 cup
