Zesty Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 1/4 pounds)
  • All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Pace Picante Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and cut into slices, 1/4-inch thick
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

1. Coat pork with flour. Stir picante sauce, brown sugar and apple in medium bowl.

2. Heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook until well browned on both sides. Pour off any fat.

3. Pour picante sauce mixture over pork. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until pork is cooked through.

4. You can really spice up this recipe by adding one teaspoon of hot pepper sauce to picante sauce mixture.
