Skillet Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 (8-ounce) pork loin chops, well trimmed
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 onions, cut into 6 wedges each
  • 3 carrots, cut into 1-inch chunks

Preparation

Step 1

Season both sides of the pork chops with cinnamon, salt and pepper.

In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown pork chops 4 to 5 minutes per side.

Add onions and carrots to skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook 25 to 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and pork chops are cooked through. Serve vegetables with pork chops.
