Butter Based Injection Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp finely ground pepper
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the broth, lemon juice, garlic powder, and pepper; Mix well. Add the salt until the mixture has a slightly salty flavor. Allow the sauce to cool enough to work with it and load it into the meat injector. This recipe makes 3/4 cup.

*Plan on using this injection marinade several hours before you start to cook the meal.*

This is great with any kind of poultry, particularly turkey!
