Ingredients
- 3/4 cup vegetable shortening
- 4 Tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 bag (2 pounds) powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Using an electric mixer, combine all ingredients in usual manner until well blended,
Then, beat on high for 3 1/2 minutes until frosting is whipped. ( this is important).
This amount of frosting. will cover a jelly-roll pan with with some left over, nd will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
NOTE: If you add any extra liquid flavoring (like almond or butter flavoring), omit the 2 Tablespoons milk.
