Banana Bread no Sugar, no Oil

Ingredients

  • 2 c whole wheat flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
  • 3/4 c honey
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 3 mashed overripe bananas

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together applesauce and honey. Stir in eggs and mshed bananas until well blended. Stir into flour mixture just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 60-65 min or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let bread cool for at least 10 min before cutting.
