  • 1 Cup butter, cubed
  • 4 Squares (1oz each) semi-sweet chocolate
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 3/4 Cups sugar
  • 1 Tsp vanilla
  • 1 Cup flour
  • 1 1/2 Cups chopped nuts (optional, can use pecan halves)

Preparation

Step 1

In a microwave, melt butter and chocolate; stir until smooth; cool 10 minutes
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar until blended
Beat in vanilla and chocolate mix; gradually stir in flour and nuts
Fill greased or paper lines muffin cups 2/3 full
Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Cool completely
