Ingredients
- 1 can 15.5 oz can Garbanzo Beans-drained, rinsed and shelled
- 1 can 15.25 can Kidney Beans-drained and rinsed
- 1 can 14.5 oz can Green Beans-drained
- 1 can 14.5 oz Wax Beans-drained
- 1 medium Green Bell Pepper-diced
- 1 small Red Onion-diced
- Dressing mixture:*
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Drain green, kidney, wax and garbanzo beans. Rinse kidney beans and shell garganzo beans. Dice red onion and green bell pepper.
Add bean mixture to dressing mixture, toss well and chill over night.
**For cheese lovers--when serving put a dish of feta cheese out for folks to sprinkle over top of salad.
Leftover salad can be warmed in the microwave.
