* Soak Romertopf in water for 15 minutes every time before using.

* Do not add any extra liquid or fat
* Put on the cover.
* Use the lowest shelf in the oven.
* Now set the temperature on the oven.

* Poultry is expecially crisp if the lid is removed and the liquid poured off about ten minutes before the end of the cooking time.
* Never use the Romertopf on a stove burner.
* Put hot Romertopf on a tea towel, not on cold surface.
* The Romertopf will become slightly discoloured.
* Do not put in dishwasher
