Ingredients
- Key Lime Frosting:
- 1 Pkg. Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Lime Juice
- 1 (3 oz.) Pkg. Lime Gelatin
- 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 4 Eggs
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Key Lime Juice

Step 1
With electric mixer, blend all ingredients together on medium speed about 2 minutes. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan and bake at 325 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center come out nearly clean. After removing from oven, use an ice pick and prick through cake, top to bottom, many times. Drizzle with icing while cake is still warm. Add whipped topping when serving if desired. Serves 8-12. Key Lime Icing: Mix powdered sugar and lime juice. Note: This can also be baked in a greased tube or Bundt cake pan for 7-10 minutes longer. If key limes are not available, use regular limes. Moist and delicious.
