Fig Almond Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 c. raw almonds
  • 1/2 c. raw pecans
  • 4 dates, pitted
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 c. dried figs

Preparation

Step 1

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until fully combined. You should be able to squish the mixture between your fingers and have it easily come together.
Scoop your clumpy mixture onto a wax paper covered baking sheet. Squish it down with a piece of wax paper on top. Place in the freezer for 1 hour.
Take your bars out of the freezer and cut into squares, and they are ready to eat. We like to keep them in the fridge to keep them cool and solid. If you want them on the go, I suggest rolling them into balls – they’ll keep better that way.
