Ingredients

  • 12 ounces challah torn into 3/4 inch pieces
  • 7 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • Can add pecans or any berries to batter.

Preparation

Step 1

1. Grease a 9 x 13 glass baking dish.
2. Place bread in dish.
3. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar & vanilla.
4. If using any add ins, add now.
5. Pour mixture over bread.
6. Using spatula, lightly press down on bread to moisten completely.
7. Cover with foil & refrigerate overnight.
8. Preheat oven to 350.
9. Remove foil & bake until golden brown, about 35 minutes.
10. Serve with syrup or any berry sauce.
