Ingredients

    lb. lean ground beef

  • 1

    onion

  • 1

    tsp. salt

  • ¼

    tsp. pepper

  • 1

    tbsp. chili powder

  • 1 - 8

    oz.can tomato sauce

  • 6

    corn tortillas

  • butter or margarine

  • 1

    - 4½ oz. can chopped black olives

  • cups cheddar cheese shredded

  • ½

    cup water

Directions

In a wide frying pan over medium high heat, brown beef and onion. Add salt, pepper; chili powder; and tomato sauce. Spread each tortilla with butter. In a 2 quart casserale, alternate layer of buttered tortillas, meat sauce, olives and cheese. Add water; cover; and bake in a 400F oven for 20 minutes.
