Ingredients

  • 1 c. shredded English cucumber
  • 1/4 c. low-fat plain yogurt
  • 3 tblsp tahini
  • 2 tblsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt, divided
  • 1 tblsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken
  • 1 tblsp oil
  • 4 pitas or lavash
  • 2 c. thinly sliced romaine

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat grill to medium

Stir cucumber, yogurt, tahini, lemon juice & 1/4 tsp salt in med bowl

Combine garlic powder, curry powder, pepper, & 1/4 salt,

Slice chicken breast crosswise into 1/4" strips - toss w/ spice mix to coat
Add oil and toss to combine

Grill the chicken turning once until cooked thru - 2 min per side

To serve spread 1/4 c. of cucumber/yog spread on pita, top w/ chicken, tomato & lettuce
