Ingredients

  • Seasoning mix:
  • 1 lb. large shrimp in shells
  • 1 t. cayenne pepper (red)
  • 1 t. Black pepper
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 t. dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 t. crushed rosemary leaves
  • 1/8 t. dried oregano leaves
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 t. minced garlic
  • 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. chlckenbroth
  • 1/4 c.beer at room temperature

Preparation

Step 1

Wash shrimp. In a small bowl combine seasonings. Melt butter, garlic and
Worcestershíre sauce over high heat in an iron skillet. Put Shrimp into skillet and cook for 2 minutes. Add beer and broth and cook another minute. Remove from heat.
Serve with rice and French bread.
I usually do 4-5 lbs, shrimp (for 8-9 people) and have some for the next day (but not much).
