  • 12 Slices Buttered Bread
  • 6 Slices Cooked Ham
  • 6 Slices Cheese, Swiss or Cheddar
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Beaten Egg
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt



Step 1

Arrange one slice ham and cheese on one slice of buttered bread. Top with another slice of buttered bread. Make six sandwiches. Mix milk, egg, and salt. Briefly dip each sandwich into milk mixture. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, browning both sides. Serve hot.
