Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Italian Sausage or lean gr. beef (I mix 50/50)
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 T parsley flakes
  • 1 T basil
  • 1 1/2 t. salt (omit if using italian sausage)
  • 1 lb. tomatoes
  • 12 oz tomato paste
  • 10 oz lasagna noodles
  • 3 c. large curd cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 t. salt (omit if using Italian sausage)
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • 2 T. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 c. parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb mozzarella cheese.

Preparation

Step 1

Brn meat - spoon off excell fat. add next 6 ingredients.
Simmer 30 minutes

Boil lasagna noodles until tender - rinse w/cold water.

2nd bowl:
mix - cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley flakes and parmesan cheese.

In 9x13 pan layer 1/2 noodles, 1/2 cottage cheese mixture, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 mozzarella - REPEAT

Bake at 375 for 30 min. Let stand 10-15 min before serving.
