Macaroni and Lentils

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1-6 oz. tomato sauce
  • pinch oregano
  • pinch crushed red pepper
  • 8 oz. pasta water
  • 19 oz. can progresso lentil soup
  • 1/2 lb. linguine broken in 4 parts or more if desired.

Preparation

Step 1

Cook garlic in oil, do not brown
add oregano and hot pepper
Add tomato sauce
Cook linguine in water, res. 1 cup pasta water
Add lentil soup to tomato sauce mix then add drained linguine
