Stuffed peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs Ground beef
  • 2 Onions (grated)
  • 1 clove Garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons Grated cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 can (12 oz) Spinach well drained
  • 10 Peppers cut in half and cored
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 small can Tomato sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Put beef,onion,and garlic in pan and cook until pink disappears. Drain any excess fat and then cool.
Add bead crumbs, well drained spinach,cheese and beaten eggs. Mix well.

Split peppers, core and steam in 1 inch of water for 5 minutes. Cool and stuff with mixture. Place in a shallow pan and add tomato sauce. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour
