Ingredients
- 2 C diced drained canned tomatoes (reserve liquid)
- 3 C canned tomato sauce
- 2 T minced fresh garlic
- 2 T extra virgin olive oil
- 3 T sun dried tomatoes
- salt & black pepper to taste
- 1/4 C diced yellow onions
- 1 T fresh minced oregano
- 1 T fresh minced basil
- pinch of red pepper flakes

Step 1
Strain the canned tomatoes and reserve liquid. Heat a large saucepan over medium heat for 1 minute. Once heated, add the olive oil, pepper flakes, garlic and onion & saute' for 1 minute. Once the onion and garlic have turned translucent, add the canned tomatoes, tomato sauce & sun dried tomatoes. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 15 minutes. Then, add the remaining fresh herbs & simmer another 10 minutes. Adjust the seasoning as neede w/ salt & pepper.
