Ingredients
- 1 lb butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 pinches salt
- 4 cups of flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup granulated or coloured sugar

Cooking time 60mins
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together 1 lb butter with 1 cup of sugar, 2 egg yolks and 2 pinches of salt
Slowly add 4 cups of flour (or less) until desired consistency
Roll gently into 2 balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes
Roll out onto floured surface into 2 thick sheets
Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters
Place on cookie sheets and brush with milk
Sprinkly coloured or granulated sugar on top of each
Bake at 225 - 235 for 20 minutes
Let cool and serve
