Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- 2 eggs
- vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt. Whisk milk, butter, eggs and vanilla, then whisk into the flour mixture until combined. Ladle 1/4 cup onto buttered skillet and cook till bubbly. Flip and cook until golden on the bottom.
*blueberry pancakes: sprinkle with blueberries before flipping
* chocolate chips pancakes: sprinkle with chocolate chips before flipping
* whole wheat pancakes: make basic panckaes with 3/4 cup all purpose flour and 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
* corn cakes: make basic pancakes with just 1/2 cup flour and add 1 cup yellow corn meal with the flour. Top with honey
*cocoa-banana pancakes: make basic pancakes with just 1 cup and 3 tbsp flour, add 1/3 cup cocoa powder, with teh flour and use 2/3 cup sugar. Add 2 mashed bananas and 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips to the batter
