Chicken and Dumpling Casserole

Ingredients

  • l/2 stick of butter
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • l/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 teaspoons of Wylers chicken granules
  • 1 can herbed cream of chicken soup

Preparation

Step 1


Preheat oven to 350 F.
First layer: In a 9 X 13-inch casserole dish, melt l/2 stick of butter. Spread chicken over butter. Sprinkle salt, black pepper and dried sage over chicken. Do not stir. Mix milk and Bisquick and slowly pour over chicken. Do not stir. ib-^ iayer^ Whisk together chicken broth, chicken granules and soup. Once blended, slowly pour over Bisquick layer. Do not stir.
Bake casserole for 30 to 40 minutes or until top is golden brown.
