Ingredients
- 2 pkgs. crescent rolls
- 2 8oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, seperated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup or so of chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Spray 9 X 13 with Pam. Place one pkg. crescent rolls in bottom, pinching seams together.
Beat cream cheese, egg yolk, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice with mixer, until well mixed. Spread over layer of rolls. Layer second package of rolls over filling, pinching seams together. May need to stretch a little to go to edges.
Beat egg white until foamy and brush on top. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly brown. Can serve warm or cold.
