Ingredients

  • Banana Cream:
  • Prepared or fresh pound cake, sliced
  • Banana Cream
  • Fresh sliced strawberries
  • Sliced bananas
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant banana cream pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. banana flavored liqueur (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine pudding mix, milk, cream, sour cream, confectioners' sugar, and banana liqueur. With an electric mixer, beat at medium speed until soft peaks form. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Store leftover banana cream in refrigerator.

To serve, top pound cake slices with banana cream, strawberries, and bananas. Garnish with mint if desired.
