Ingredients
- 1 cup cold water
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 oz honey
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb fresh carrots , peeled and sliced diagonally

Step 1
1 In large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add carrots, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until tender.
2 Drain carrots and return to saucepan.
3 In small bowl, whisk vinegar, honey, olive oil, dijon mustard, basil, and black pepper.
4 Add dressing to carrots. Cook over medium heat 2 minutes, stirring often.
5 Serve warm.
