Ingredients

  • 2 navel oranges
  • 1 lemon, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 1 lime, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup superfine sugar
  • 6 tablespoons Cointreau
  • 4 tablespoons triple sec
  • 3/4 cup good quality tequila (best to use 100% agave "reposado")
  • 6 cups ice
  • Fine gray salt for the rims of the glasses

Step 1

Use a juicing machine for the oranges, lemon and lime. Whisk the juice with the sugar to dissolve then stir in the Cointreau, triple sec and tequila.
