Ingredients
- FOR ORANGE GLAZE:
- 1 box (18oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 small box instant lemon pudding mix
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Juice of 2 oranges (about 8 tablespoons)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325. Prepare a 12 cup bundt pan using butter and flour or baker's joy and set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake and pudding mixes. Add orange juice, oil, eggs, and lemon juice. Beat 4 minutes on medium speed. Pour into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the cake clean. let cool in pan for 10 mintues, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
4. For Glaze: Place orange juice and sugar in a small saucepan and simmer over medium ehat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens. Apply this hot to the cake (it will soak in and give the cake a very moist exterior) or brush it on at room temperature for a more textured look.
