  • Strawberry Frosting:
  • 1 Box White Cake Mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) Pkg. Strawberry Jello
  • 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Flaked Coconut
  • 1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 Cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 Stick Margarine
  • 1/8 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Strawberries, drained
  • 1/2 Cup Pecans, chopped
  • 1 lb. Box Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cake in order given and bake in 4 (8") greased and floured cake pans at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes Cool and then frost with strawberry frosting. To make frosting: Mix all ingredients together, gradually adding more milk or powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached. Note: Okay to substitute 8-10 chopped fresh strawberries for frozen in frosting.
