Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine (do not use butter as it burns)
- 1-1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4-1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups corn Chex cereal
- 2 cups rice Chex cereal
- 2 cups bran Chex cereal
- 2 cups wheat Chex cereal
- 1 cup salted cashews and/or mixed nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Heat margarine in large shallow roasting pan (about 15 x 10 x 2”) in oven until melted. Remove and stir in seasoned salt and Worcestershire sauce. Add Chex cereals and nuts.
Mix until all pieces are well coated.
Place in oven in 15 minute increments. Then remove and mix up the mix and place again in oven for another 15 minutes. Do this for a total of one hour.
Spread on paper towels to dry and cool.
Makes approximately 9 cups.
