Ingredients
- 1 cup regular shortening, no butter flavor
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 2-1/2 cups sifted flour
Preparation
Step 1
Form in small balls and flatten with a glass dipped in granulated
sugar so the glass does not stick to the cookie.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes.
The cookie should have a brown rim and be crispy.
