MOM'S OVERNIGHT BUNS/CINNAMON ROLLS

The best recipe ever!!!! Very light cinnamon rolls. I also have included half the recipe as it makes a huge batch.

Ingredients

  • HALF RECIPE:
  • 2 packages yeast
  • 4-1/2 cups warm water
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 15 cups flour
  • 1 package yeast
  • 2-1/4 cups warm water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 7-1/2 cups flour
  • CINNAMON ROLL FILLING:
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinammon and sometimes nutmeg or cocoa

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in ½ cup warm water.

Combine remaining water, sugar, oil and salt.

Add yeast mixture.

Add flour.

Mix and knead.

Cover and let rise five hours.

Shape into buns/cinnamon rolls in tins. Set on oven to rise overnight.

DO NOT REFRIGERATE! Leave overnight.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
