Macaroni & Tuna Salad

This is a recipe that I have concocted to contain ingredients from all of the women in my family's recipes, as well as a few ingredients of my own. I wanted to make the recipe my own so I took different ingredients that they all use and combined them to my taste. Please tweak this recipe to make it your own as I have. I estimated how much of each ingredient I use because I don't measure anything when I make it, I just make it! I hope you all enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb macaroni or penne pasta
  • 2 can(s) tuna in water
  • 3 eggs, boiled
  • 2 c miracle whip salad dressing
  • 1/4 c thousand island dressing
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp sweet relish
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salad seasoning
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 c parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Boil pasta according to package directions; add eggs with pasta to boil; once pasta and eggs are done, drain and allow to cool; once pasta has cooled, open cans of tuna, peel and chop eggs and combine with all ingredients; toss until well coated; refrigerate and allow to chill for at least two hours before serving
