Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta (shells, rotini, elbow macaroni or any type of pasta to your liking)
- 1 jar Cheesey Double Cheddar Ragu make your own Cheddar Cheese Sauce (recipe follows)
- 16 ounces frozen Italian style meatballs
- 2 cups water
- 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chiles
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients in Ninja 3in1 cooking system. Stir. Cover and cook on oven setting for 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve.
Cheddar Cheese Sauce:
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons flour
salt & pepper
1 cup milk (works best with 2% milk)
1-1/2 cups freshly shredded cheddar cheese (not pre-grated)
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour then whisk for one minute. Slowly whisk in milk then season with salt and pepper and switch to a wooden spoon. Stir and cook until thickened, about 4-5 minutes. Turn off heat then add cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Taste then season with additional salt and pepper if necessary. Serve immediately.
