Ingredients
- Prosciutto Butter:
- 1 1/2 c.(3 sticks)unsalted butter, room temperature
- 6 tbps chopped hazelnuts
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sherry wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
- 2 tsp crushed black peppercorns
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 9 zo thinkly sliced prosciutto, chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Place butter in large bowl. Mix in hazelnuts, vinegar, thyme, crushed pepper, garlic, and salt. Mix in rposciutto and green onions.
Set aside 1/4 c. prosciutto butter for gravey if desired.
Spread 1 c. butter over turkey meat under skin. Spread 1 c. butter over outside of turkey.
Season inside of turkey as desired.
