One Pot Beef & Mushroom Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 2 TBS butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 8 oz fresh button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 TBS all purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 1/3 cup sour cream

Step 1
1) Sauté garlic in butter in lrg pot over med heat 1 – 2 mins or until the garlic is soft and fragrant. Add the ground beef and continue to sauté until it is fully browned.
2) Add the sliced mushrooms and continue to sauté until they are soft. Add the flour and cook 2 mins more. The flour will coat the bottom of the pot and that is ok.
3) Add the broth and stir to dissolve the flour off of the bottom of the pan. Add the uncooked noodles. Cover and allow the liquid to come to a boil. As soon as it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer covered 10 mins, stirring occasionally or until the noodles are soft and most of the liquid has been absorbed. Stir in the sour cream and serve.
