Green Beans Italiano

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. green beans
  • 1 teasp. salt
  • 2 qts. boiling water
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 teasp. salt
  • 1/8 teasp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh basil leaves
  • 3 Tbsp. wine venegar

Preparation

Step 1



Wash beans and remove ends. Add 1 teasp. salt to boiling water. Cook 10 mins. Saute onion in olive oil until transparent, 8 mins. Drain beans and add to onion. Season with 1/2 teasp. salt and pepper. Add basil and vinegar and toss
