Steak and Sour Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 lb. tenderized round steak
- 3 Tbls. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1-2 Tbls. oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 4 oz. can mushrooms, stems and pieces
- 2 Tbls. water or mushroom liquid
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp. minced parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Cut steak into serving pieces. Coat with mixture of flour, salt and pepper. In large fry pan, brown meat in hot oil*. Drain excess fat. Add onion, mushrooms and water. Reduce heat and simmer covered 5 minutes. Add sour cream and parsley and heat through (do not boil).
*(If meat is not tenderized, add ¼ cup water and simmer 1-1/4 hours until tender.)
