Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup 100% Bran Cereal or Post Grape Nuts
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Kellogg's All Bran
  • 2 1/2 all purpose unbleached flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

-Pour boiling water over Grape Nuts (set aside)
-Mix oil, sugar, buttermilk, eggs & All Bran.
-Sift together flour, soda& salt. Add to buttermilk mixture. Fold in Grape Nut / water mixture.

Bake in greased muffin tins - 18 minutes at 400F.

Un-used mixture will keep in ref for several weeks.
