Ingredients

  • 3 T butter
  • 1 sm onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 1/2 T green chilies
  • 2 c heavy cream
  • 1/2 c Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 1 med tomato, diced
  • 2/3 c crimini muchrooms, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Warm pan to med-high heat. Add butter, melt, add onions. garlic, peppers. Saute til onion is translucent. Add mushrooms. tomato, basil, saute another 1-2 min. Add cream, bring to simmer and hold 2-3 min. Add cheese, stir to incorporate. Serve over pasta.
