NO BAKE SUMMER SQUARES

With a bit of a crunch and not too sweet - but rich, nonetheless.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or hard margarine
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup medium coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ICING
  • 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp butter/hard margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in medium saucepan. Remove from heat.

Stir in next 5 ingredients.

Add graham crumbs. Stir. Press in greased 8x8 inch pan.

ICING: Melt chocolate chips and butter in heavy saucepan on low, stirring often. Spread over top. Cool completely.
