Herbed Turkey Breast w/ Orange Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lg. onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2-3 lbs. boneless skinless turkey breast
  • 1 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch

Step 1

Place onion in slow cooker. Combine garlic, rosemary, and pepper in small bowl; set aside. Cut slices about 3/4 of the way through turkey at 2" intervals. Rub garlic mix between slices.

Place turkey, cut side up, in slow cooker. Pour orange juice over turkey. Cover; cook on LOW 7-8 hrs. or till temp reaches 170 at thickest part of breast, not touching bone.

Transfer turkey to cutting board; cover w/ foil and let stand 10-15 mins. before carving. Combine water and cornstarch, stirring till smooth. Stir into slow cooker juices. Cook on HIGH 15 mins. or till thickened. Serve sauce w/ sliced turkey.
