Parmesan Butter Pan Biscuits

Buttery biscuits with the extra bonus of Parmesan cheese and basil make the perfect side dish for a holiday meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400°F.
Melt butter in 8-inch square baking pan in oven (3 to 5 minutes).

Meanwhile, combine all ingredients except milk in medium bowl. Stir in milk just until moistened.

Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead 10 times or until smooth. Roll dough into 12x4-inch rectangle. Cut into 12 (1-inch) strips.

Dip each strip into melted butter in pan. Place into same pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
