Ingredients

    Lbs Ground Beef

  • 2

    Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½

    Onion

  • ½

    Red bell pepper chopped

  • ½

    Green pepper chopped

  • 1

    Egg

  • ¼

    Cup Panko or bread crumbs

  • 1

    Clove Garlic chopped

  • Kosher

  • Ground black pepper

  • Ketchup Sauce:

  • 1

    28-oz. can tomato puree

  • 2

    tbsp. dark brown sugar

  • ¼

    cup cider vinegar

  • Pinch Onion powder

  • Pinch Garlic powder

  • Pinch cayenne

  • Pinch celery salt

  • Pinch dry mustard

  • Kosher salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 deg. Heat skillet and add onion and bell peppers and pinch of salt. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until softened. In a large bowl add meat, Worcestershire, garlic, cooked onion, bell pepper, salt and pepper and mix by hand. Add egg and half of the panko and mix well. Form into loaf shape on baking sheet or casserole dish. Cook for 45 minutes. While meatloaf is baking mix all the ketchup ingredients in a clean bowl and set aside. Once meatloaf has baked for 45 minutes, remove from oven and pour over ketchup sauce. Return to oven for additional 15 minutes.
