Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups milk, divided
- 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoon salt plus extra to taste
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 pound lean ground pork
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, beat eggs with 1 cup of the milk.
Blend in bread crumbs, salt, sugar, ginger, nutmeg and allspice.
Thoroughly mix in ground meats and onion.
Shape into meatballs about the size of walnuts.
