Also called Iaonamina (sp?) bars. I make this only at Christmas as they are very time consuming and many steps but well worth the time and effort.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1-1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate (1-1/2 ounces)
- 1 square unsweetened chocolate (1 ounce)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tablespoon cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Melt ½ cup butter and 1 square chocolate in saucepan. Blend grandulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, egg, graham cracker crumbs, coconut, and nuts into butter/chocolate mixture. Mix well and press into UNGREASED pan (11-1/2 x 7-1/2” or square pan 9 x 9”). Refrigerate.
Mix ¼ cup butter, milk, powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over crumb mixture. Chill.
Melt 1-1/2 squares chocolate and spread over chilled filling. Chill. Cut before firm. Makes 3 to 4 dozen squares.
