Ingredients

  • 1 16oz. can refried beans
  • 2 tsp. fresh lime juice
  • coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. grated cheddar
  • 1 4.5oz. can green chilis
  • 2 plum tomatoes chopped & seeded
  • 1 avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and diced small
  • 1 c. shredded romaine lettuce
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • Tortilla Chips

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine beans, lime juice, and 2 Tbs. water; season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a serving dish. Top with sourcream, cheese, chiles, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce and scallions. Serve with tortilla chips.
