Ingredients

  • 1 Stewing Chicken
  • 1 onion
  • 4 Tbls. butter
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1 28 oz. can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 10 oz. bag frozen lima beans
  • 1 1 lb. can or bag of corn
  • 1 tsp. Worst. sauce
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbls. vinegar
  • diced onion

Preparation

Step 1

Simmer stewing chicken in water or broth with 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, 1 carrot, 1 celery with tops and 1 onion. Simmer until tender. Remove skins and bones. Shread chicken and set aside. Save broth for soup.
In a large pan, melt butter and saute carrots and green pepper. When tender add chicken and remaining ingredients. Simmer an hour or so until thickened.
